PLEASE READ! UPDATE ON CLOSING FOR THE WINTER SEASON!
Hello everyone! We hope you had a wonderful and safe Christmas. As always, we thank you so much for your continued support. After a great deal of consideration, we have decided to be closed for the winter season beginning this coming Friday, January 1st through February 28th, and re-opening Monday, March 1st. We will be using this time to set-up our Sweet Pea Kitchen and Catering website as well as our social media platforms. The goal is to be organized and ready to go for you come Spring!
When ready, we will provide a link to the new website on the Harriet's website and Facebook page. For those of you we have contact information for, we will reach out to you directly. With that in mind, feel free leave your email address either by text: 718-930-7012, email: email@example.com, or simply write it down when you pick up – whichever you prefer!
In advance of the closing, rather than run a typical weekly menu, we will be offering items that are good for freezing so you can stock up for the cold weather! We thought this would be a nice option given the circumstances. These items will be available on a first come, first serve basis this coming Thursday, Dec. 31th from 11am-6pm. I’m sure there will be some questions so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

- Beef Stew - $16.00/qt
- Italian Spinach and Orzo Soup - $15.00/qt
- Chicken Noodle Soup - $15.00/qt
- Shepherd’s Pie (made with beef) - $20.00 each
- Meat Lasagna - $20.00 each
- Vegetarian Lasagna - $20.00 each

"Harriet's Outback" to open under new ownership!

I have a bit of news that is neither a Weekly Menu or a Corona Virus Update. We will be closed this week to prepare for Michelle's arrival as the new owner of Harriet's "Outback" and Harriet's Catering.
You will all love Michelle. She is incredibly talented, but also incredibly calm and easygoing (traits that were sometimes absent in the past). She wants to continue doing what we have always done - making (better than ever) prepared foods and catering your events large and small (Covid sensitive of course).
To all of you that have stuck with me all these months and years, I am extremely grateful. It has been a long run 1979-2020 and I have been a part of countless occasions of every conceivable type during those years. Marriages, divorces, baptisms, births, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, Christmases, Thanksgivings, office parties, wine dinners, beer dinners, and on and on. It has been mostly fun and sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else. A HUGE THANK YOU to you all!!!
Michelle will be opened for business starting next week - Nov. 12. Mike and Meg with still be there and I will be there as needed through the Holidays. We all look forward to seeing you then and for many months and years to come.
